OYSTER SHELL RECYCLING AT LOWCOUNTRY OYSTER FESTIVAL

January 26, 10:30AM - 5:30PM

We're teaming up with Coastal Conservation Association SC to collect shells at the Lowcountry Oyster Festival at Boone Hall, a Lowcountry Land Trust protected property. All shells collected at this event will be recycled through DNR's oyster shell recycling program and will eventually be used to prep bags of oyster shell for building reefs with DNR's SCORE program. Join Summerville Saltwater Anglers, Dorchester County, Charleston Waterkeeper, Lowcountry Land Trust, Ashley Ridge Cares and Keep Dorchester County Beautiful for a cleanup on your local waterway, the Ashley Scenic River.
