2017 was a year filled with action

2017 was a year filled with action – 61 volunteers participated in seven different projects that ranged from litter cleanups to installing “Protected Forever” signs on Lowcountry Land Trust protected properties. Volunteers donated over 307 hours of their time to these projects and collected over 2,000 pounds of trash in the process. What a year!

As we plan 2018, we want to reflect and thank everyone who lent a helping hand, got muddy, worked in the rain and sweated through a hot Charleston day with us. Thank you! We couldn’t have done as much as we did without you and we are looking forward to the new year. Be sure to check out our events page to keep up to date on the volunteer opportunities we’re planning for 2018.

We hope to see you out there!
