2017 Annual Picnic Recap

Enterprise Farm, Wadmalaw Island

On April 1st, over 360 Land Trust supporters attended the Annual Picnic at Enterprise Farm on Wadmalaw Island.

Enterprise Farm is a protected property consisting of 150 acres with a half mile on Wadmalaw Sound. The eventwas hosted by Land Trust Board Chair Steve Gates and wife, Laura.

A sincere thank you to our sponsors, many of whom have supported the Land Trust for years:

VanSmith Concrete: 25 years of giving

Charleston Appraisal Services:  23 years of giving

Holcombe, Fair, and Lane: 16 years of giving

Roy and Amanda Maybank Foundation: 13 years of giving

Additionally, we’d like to thank our partners at EventHaus, Nature’s Calling and Food Waste Disposal.  EventHaus has reduced our event rental cost for the year by one-third and Nature’s Calling donates facilities for all of ourevents. Food Waste Disposal helps to keep our footprint and impact low by providing composting and recycling services. In-kind donations like these keep our expenses low so that the proceeds can be placed back directly into conservation efforts.
